NATHANIA WIBOWO

Founder / Voice & Piano Teacher

Nathania Wibowo began her music education at a very young age, when she  began her piano studies. While finishing her degree in Architecture, she joined the Parahyangan University Choir where she gained experience in performing and competing both nationally and internationally. In 2010, she went on to pursue her education at Berklee College of Music, majoring in Voice Performance and Songwriting. Ms. Wibowo became one of the top ones and obtained the Berklee World Tour Scholarship and won the Curtain Up! Musical Theater Writing Competition both in 2012 and 2013. After finishing her degree in Boston, she moved to New York City to join the BMI Musical Theater Workshop and continued to write music for musical theater.


Ms. Wibowo is the composer of Night Tide The Musical, in collaboration with New York City-based playwright, Taylor Tash. Night Tide The Musical, received a staged reading in New York City in February of 2016 and off-Broadyway productions in New York Musical Festival, July 2017, with several sold out performances and great reviews from prestigious New York magazines and newspapers.


Besides performing and composing, Ms. Wibowo is sharing her talent through teaching music for children and adults. She was the faculty member of a prestigious music institution in New York where she helped her students overcome their obstacles and reach their maximum potential. With her guidance, her students have won several competitions, excelled in auditions, and earned perfect scores for New York State exams.


Ms. Wibowo finds it important to guide her students to successfully achieve their music goals in their own paces, and most importantly so they will be able to convey the honest feeling in their music. Music is a personal experience for all individuals. Each student has a unique learning process, and she has cultivated different approaches to help them reach their full potential.
