Vocal Teacher

Born with a family that loves to sing, Yemima became very fond of singing and made many achievements from the singing competitions she participated since a young age. When she was 15, she started taking a vocal course to hone her singing skills at The Resonanz Music Studio, guided by Anny Johan. From 2018 until now, she has been taking private lessons under the guidance of Avip Priatna.

Yemima joined The Resonanz Children Choir (TRCC) in 2016 and actively participated in concerts and competitions with TRCC, including winning the Grand Prix Musica Eterna Rome in 2017, and the European Grand Prix for Choral Singing (EGP) in Maribor, 2018. In 2019, she decided to join Batavia Madrigal Singers (BMS) and has been actively participating in concerts with BMS, winning the Grand prize in the Tolosa Choral Contest in Tolosa, Spain and the European Grand Prix for Choral Singing (EGP) in Tours, 2022. 

Alongside, Yemima earned her Bachelor degree in Music from Pelita Harapan University Conservatory of Music, majoring in Classical Vocal Performance under the guidance of Binu Sukaman. She has also participated in a vocal masterclass with Dr. Alan Zabriskie and Alex Mendez in 2019. In 2022, she graduated and has been sharing her knowledge since then. She loves kids and has been teaching kids from a very young age.

Subsequently, Yemima also actively participates as a soloist, duet, ensemble, and choir in concerts with Jakarta Concert Orchestra. In 2022, she also held a vocal recital “Sorrow and Longing” with Dr. Mario Santoso performing Schumann’s Liederkreis Op.39. In 2023, she held a vocal recital “Americana” performing music from Leonard Bernstein and Aaron Copland.
