Lalita's First Musical Production
DONGENG NEGERI SERIBU ANGIN
"Dongeng Negeri Seribu Angin"
A Musical Celebration of Diversity
A landmark musical performance by young Indonesians for the next generation.
The concert, an original creation of Lalita Music School, was created to preserve and
cultivate traditional Indonesian childhood songs in today’s modern era. Choreography is
provided by Ballet.Id and performed by the underprivileged children in the care of HORE
Indonesia in collaboration with students of Lalita Music School, to bridge the socio-economic
gap amongst the young generations.
Three organizations which consist of young Indonesian social entrepreneurs have joined
forces to help make hopes and dreams happen through music, drama and dance.
Lalita Music School, HORE Indonesia, and Ballet.Id are proud to announce a mini musical
concert titled: Dongeng Negeri Seribu Angin (The Land of A Thousand Winds) which will be
held on May 21, 2017 at Taman Ismail Marzuki in, Jakarta.
The musical will take audience on a journey through the eyes of a little girl and her
imagination in search of herself and fulfillment of her dreams. In her quest, she explores
different parts of the Indonesian culture through a reimagined original scoring by Lalita
Music School’s Founder, recreating traditional song and dance catered for today.
