GEARDA DEWANTARA

Mr. Gearda started to learn guitar when he was 13 years old from his brother, whom taught him to play in pop style. Later on, Mr. Gearda continued his guitar lesson in Farabi. He is one of the brightest guitarists in Jakarta who was able to complete 6 levels of contemporary guitar and theory of music at LPM Farabi in a short period of time, 3 years.

In 2014, Mr. Gearda decided to study Jazz guitar and Jazz music theory, from his mentors Tiyo Alibasjah, Benny Likumahuwa and Arief Setiadi.

Beside actively teaching guitar lessons since 2014, Mr. Gearda has also been active as a session player for several singers and music groups such as Fadhilonn, Ricky Rantung and Bella Fawzi.

This best graduate of the University of Mercu Buana in 2017 had the opportunity to judge the 2016 & 2017 National Student Art Competition Festival (FLS2N) and has won several band festivals.
